Enterprise Week returns for 2022 from 14 – 18 November. 

A series of 13 in person and virtual events under the theme of Adapt, Evolve, Overcome reflect this year’s focus on continuing the journey to economic recovery.

Kick Off! Resilience Means Business
The world of sports develops athletes’ ability to recover from setbacks and withstand pressures that are rivalled by no other industry. Instagram & Facebook Reels – Social Media Workshop for Tourism Businesses
This workshop explores the process in creating video content to upload to Instagram Reels and Facebook. We will show attendees how to plan, storyboard and record content using their mobile phones, and how to edit content, to publish online, using editing app InShot.We will also show examples of the benefits of Facebook/Instagram Ads to promote content online.

All attendees must bring their mobile phones for this workshop.

About the Covid Recovery Start Up Payment Scheme

The Scheme, launched by Mid Ulster District Council, is part of its wider campaign to support Covid recovery across District.  The £250 is designed to assist budding entrepreneurs with the marketing of products, capital costs, rent, set-up costs, or cost of renovating premises.

What happens next

  • Your Business Advisor will support you to complete your Business Plan
  • When your Business Plan is finalised, your Advisor will provide you with a short application form, scheme guidance and eligibility criteria
  • If successful, you will be issued with a Letter of Offer and the payment will be made directly to you
  • 6 months from receiving your payment, you will be required to provide evidence that you have started a business

The scheme will close at 12 noon on 31 March 2021.  Late applications will not be accepted or assessed.
