Meet the Team
General Manager – Jim Eastwood
Jim is the General Manager of the Enterprise Centre and has been directly associated with the company since its incorporation in the late eighties.
He originally joined the board in 1990 and was appointed Chief Executive in 1992 holding this post until December 2006. During this period he led the company to significant business growth, success and financial stability.
During a six year sabbatical he remained an active board member serving as vice chairman and Chairman of the Strategic Subcommittee during that period. In early 2014 and to guide the company through a period of change including the Reform of Public Administration he was invited by the board to take overall management control of the company.
With twenty five years of experience in the field of business enterprise and local economic development Jim is highly regarded throughout the Northern Ireland enterprise support network.
Office Manager – Mary Monaghan
Mary has been employed by Cookstown Enterprise Centre since its inception in 1992 and has witnessed the continued growth and success of the organisation since its establishment.
She was originally employed as an administrative assistant and today manages the busy main office and reception environment. Her primary responsibilities also include the day to day management of lettings and maintenance of the diverse portfolio of commercial and residential property owned by the Enterprise Centre.
Mary is the first point of contact for potential new and existing tenant companies and deals with all enquiries in this respect. As part of her job role she has overall responsibility for hire of the company’s meeting and conference room facilities.
Finance Manager – Zita Carlisle
Zita joined the company as an accounts technician in the mid-nineties and today manages all aspects of book-keeping, credit control and day to day financial matters within the organisation.
As well as operating the computerised book-keeping system she processes the company payroll and associated activities. Her role also includes negotiating the provision of essential services such as insurance cover for all aspects of the company’s operations as well as utilities including electricity and water.
Zita also provide SAGE training to company employees and business clients as required.
